EU Winter Tour Blog Update No. 1
Hi! We are having a blast zooming around Europe. Â Three Italian shows down, now two in Switzerland, and off to Holland in the morning. Tim Young is the guitarist on fire, Alex Guy is the violist with soul, Tim Matthew is the tour manager/sound engineer/driver putting all others to shame, Gracie Koester is the super nanny and baby Tennessee is the funniest, most go-with-the-flow and cute tour mascot ever. Â The food is amazing and we’re getting a much-needed sun infusion. Â Thanks to all who have come out so far to join us at the shows. Â More soon…

Hi Laura, I loved so much your show in Milan… I’ve always thought that your music and your voice are mesmerizing, but a few nights ago I felt surrounded by some kind of magic I’d never heard or seen before.
Hope to see you around again very soon. And Alex Guy too. Baci e abbracci (that’s our way to say: “xoxo”).

Hello Laura and the bunch,
That was a nice performance last saturday in Utrecht Holland: Laura Veirs, the light edition. Liked the two traditionals you performed and you brought along your banjo this time…;-). Thanks, and happy touring in Europe. See you again some time next year?

Tim Young is splendid: Karl Blau is the best! Please bring him with you next time you are in Holland.

I thought the performance in Brussels this evening was the best Laura Veirs gig I’ve seen. Great atmosphere, great playing (Tim’s superb) and great sound. You guys should stick together, a great band. Please come back next year….or preferably sooner!

The concert in Ravenna was wonderful! I have some photos up on my Flickr and a lot more to upload.
